If Samuel tests the market he can command big bucks and the Pats have a reputation of not paying up. I think they will try to keep him though because they dont really have anyone else.

Without a doubt Randy Moss. It wasn't until Brady had a deep threat like Moss that the Pats were able to threaten the 1972 Dolphins legacy. And so much of the offense this year went through Moss. Moss led the league in receiving TDs at 23. That's 7 more than the next guy on the list, Braylon Edwards. Honestly, without Moss this past season, the Patriots don't reach the Super Bowl at 18-0. Letting him go would be a world class bad decision.

They have to keep him but I doubt they will. They never get in a bidding war for players. They will just draft more replacements. They have gotten to the Super Bowl with an undrafted free agent at corner already.

He'll be hard to keep. He's the next Ty Law or Darrell Green, and I'm sure he'll be hot on the market come March.
