Love 70's music but I also love the 80's rock . I love both of these decades because I was a child in the 70's and a teen in the 80's so thats why I would have to pick both decades as having the best rock.

i almost have to agree, except that the predecessors (to me at least) paved the way for the that generation's music. the roots of rock and roll began in the 50's and grew to great popularity in the 60's. the british invasion, as we called it, opened the floodgates of all that was to follow.

The 80's were best. The only good thing about the 70's was Black Sabbath. But that's just my opinion. So take that to the bank and cash it.
