Usually, if a person can see Spirits then they are called a medium. As the term implies, people that are mediums connect those on the physical side with those on the Other Side....hence, the term medium. Mediums are NOT crazy and do not hallucinate as some of the other people answering this question are stating. I myself am a medium and I'm in perfect mental health.

If you (the questioner) are seeing Spirits, please embrace your ability for what it is and don't be afraid of it. The world needs more good mediums. I wish you the best of luck!

I have been called crazy many times. So I just quit telling people what I see. Some people call themselves sensitives or psychics. Every now and then someone will call themselves a medium. They do not see spirits so much as let them use their body to communicate with the living.

you have mediumistic abilities, which means, that you are intuitive on a "clear seeing" level, concerning those that have passed
if you are looking for the exact wording, it is "clairvoyant"
Clairalience- "clear smelling" (also known as clairgustance)- is the smelling of scents coming from other dimensions
Clairaudience- "clear hearing"
Clairhambience-"clear tasting"
Clairsentience is the "psychic" perception of all physical sensations.....
the above all all seen by the psychic in the "minds eye" when doing a reading

IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY SEEING AN APPARITION......it's called seeing an apparition or ghost........ it's just called seeing, observing, noticing........I don't know of any specific name for it...being intuitive to it's presence.....
