My favorite music is "CLASSIS ROCK"-70's and 80's rock. I grew up as a child in these two decades and I do consider my self "Old School" because I have heard my nieces say this music is old and I"m not hip.ha.ha. I try to listen to some new rock but I can not get into it. I listen to some new country music once and a while but I always go back to my CLASSIC ROCK music cds to listen too.

old school. All songs are made of different combinations of the same 12 notes. All the good combinations had been used by 1988. Therefore anything written since 1988 is not as good as music written before. Take my advice, dont waste ur time listening to new music. You could be listening to something good,...music written before 1988. Notice how nobody sez they like music from the 90s or the 2000s?

Definately old school here.....don't get into too much new music. I tend to listen to anything from classical music to classic rock/hard rock/heavy metal.
Some of today's music is too electronic for me...too many synthesizers, and too much electronics drums. At the same time there are new bands that play actual instruments, but suck so bad I can't listen to them....their talent really lacks, so I stick with the old stuff.

How can you listen to anything else but OLDSCHOOL anymore?
What they call R&B is a PC and a voice.....computers don't groove....therefore...it sux. Besides these homey biotches can't write thier own stuff....ironically....they borrow heavy on old school.
Country is ok....but at LEAST they play thier own instruments....not as hit or miss
The rock bands out are too emo for me....sounds like mom shoulda hit em a few times...tuffen them up
American Idol?....they did OK with the first winner Clarkson( oh wait....she LEFT and did her OWN stuff) but they've been killing careers since then
