Both are good cars. Depends on what you like.....myself I would pick the one with the best price........

That's an unfair comparison, as the Civic competes with Nissan's Sentra. The Altima/Accord comparison would be more "apples to apples". That being said, like others have said, it depends on how you want to use it...how you drive (commute, around town, etc.). The Altima is bigger, more powerful, and more comfortable, but the Civic is a little more economical. But watch out...check with your insurance company before making your final decision. The Civic tends to be more to insure due to very high nationwide theft rates.
As far as quality is concerned, you really can't go wrong with either.

you're comparing apples and oranges. The altima is in the same category as the honda accord, and between those I would choose the accord. But between the civic and altima my choice would be the altima.
