If we start believing in what medical science has to say, we are in a big trap. It constantly keeps saying that we are evolving and we need to evolve. If we start absolutely believing that then we are going to end up constantly competing against each other opening up all bad faculties of humanity like getting egocentric, hatred, jealousy and all other evil. We cannot help much there. Our core belief is to become materially successful. If we don't compete others would take it over and you would look like a loser to yourself. Which nobody wants to be. This is all because we believe that we are physical bodies.
If we started believing that we are not physical bodies but are souls like what all religions suggest, then our motives and actions will be working towards that. Then there is no fight against each. This is because the same soul that is in you is also in others. What you fight against? Your own self.
Can someone give a solution to destroy all the evil without religion?

The root of all evil is ignorance. And you are advocating ignorance. People are basically good, and they only do evil when they have an ignorant, distorted view of the world.

The answer to this question is simple. The root of all evil is selfishness. Think of any act that is commonly labeled as "evil" and you will probably determine that the person who committed the act did so out of selfishness. Everyone is selfish to one degree or another. We are born this way, but we can discipline ourselves to act counter to our nature. Imagine if everyone treated others the way that they wanted to be treated. That would be selflessness and it would transform the world. Instead, many people do unto others, BEFORE the others can do it to them. We lack compassion, trust, love, and honor as a race. We divide ourselves into classes and groups and decide who is better than whom and then allocate the best resources for ourselves and let the rest of the world be damned. We are all evil. Yet, it does not have to be this way; there is an alternative.

2 err is 2 b human. while we r human there will b evil. there cannot b 1 without the other. thus it was and always thus shall b. the source is in thought. as u think so u r .not every1 is good and not every1 is bad. want u r is down 2 chance like the rest of nature. religion profits from good and evil. religion would have been invented even if we had no evil because that's the way our minds work.

The evil lies in the morality. In what is right or wrong. Almost all animals don't have it, so if they kill in order to eat, to survive, they simply do what they have to do.
Judging is a form of evil, even when it's a best thing we can do.
I guess when you let the things calm down and the time pass through, you are able to see the root of any malice.
But humans have conscience so the best way to avoid the evil is to respect what you think and what the others thinks.

What, in the first place, is evil? What is evil to you may not be evil to me or to some other. I read a magazine article where Winston Churchill was said to have said of Afghans that what we (in the west) consider evil behavior they consider a virtue. What the young people of America think is proper behavior today does not seem so to one raised in the 1930's and 1940's. In fact it seems downright "evil". I suggest you look up and read the reference I'm including below.

There's a dodgy assumption in your question: you say we are told "we need to evolve". Evolution happens, without need.

We and other beings are evolved to experience needs: that's what keeps us feeding and breeding. We can avoid hunger, precisely and only, by feeding; but we can't avoid all hunger. That is a meaningless goal.

It is not possible to remove all of the threats that surround us. Challenge is a necessary part of life. We can take steps against particular evils, one by one, but we can't destroy all evil without destroying all life.

You go very deep, money and religion is the root of all evil look back in history and you can see that! religion causes wars, money causes rebellions. Life is now and unless people stand up and believe in each other it will carry on. Britain will no longer rule we have lost our back bone x

I can not separate myself from my belief in God, therefore evil is the result of Lucifer's hatred and jealousy in the creation of man, and Gods love for his creation. We cannot stop evil......but evil has a destiny, which is to be thrown into the lake of fire. All we can do is steal as many souls from the devil," evil ", as possible before Jesus returns. If we continue to speak the truth of Christ and even if one person hears it and accepts it then we have defeated evil.......
