Can anyone help me with these two problems

1. I want to disable my scroll on the touchpad of the laptop because for some reason if you touch the keypad over the half way point you hit the scroll (the scroll is actually only supposed to take up the right edge of the touchpad but has a widerspan than it should be)

2. This could be linked to the scroll problem - Sometimes when i am typing the type curser jumps (for example I'll be writing and then it will jump back a few words and i wont notice contuining writing and messing it all up) making it very irritating...

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help or has any suggestions!

Cheers,

Paul

1. you should have an option under "touchpad" or "pointing Devices" under the control panel.

2. The problem you are describing sounds like you are tapping the touchpad accidentally. Try to be mindful of it. If you still have a problem, you should be able to adjust that under the same heading as #1.
