since it was new. I replaced the thermostate about a week ago and I just saw a green spot under the car I looked a around the themostate housing and it was dry. I jacked the car up and on the back of the oil pan I saw anti freeze but I couldn't see where it was coming from and there is nothing back there that would leak. What could be the problem

It could be alot of things. Don't listen to what the first two said because they can't use thier ESP powers and diagnose your problem without looking at your vehicle. If I was in your situation I would take it to a shop and have your cooling system pressure tested. What they do is attatch a pump to your radiator cap/and or overflow tank and pressurize the system. Whatever leaks you may have the antifreeze will start pissing out of. I mean it could be one of your heater core lines, freeze plug, water pump (alot of Honda's water pumps are driven off the timing chain and are a place where you can't see them without taking off the timing chain cover), intake manifold, etc. you get the idea. So if you can't visually see where it's leaking from and repair it yourself then take it to a reasonably priced shop who does good work. Hope this advice helped you out.

Probably a freeze plug that is leaking. It also could be a leak in the heater hose. The usual life span of a vehicle would be 10 years. At 300,000 miles and 21 years of running, you have probably reached the point where you should think about retiring it. If you do want to keep it it will probably start having a series of problems now. You might want to discuss options with your mechanic.
