Everyone's body reacts differently to pregnancy. Most women do get tender breasts while they are pregnant and it's usually in the very beginning of pregnancy. Some women don't ever get tender breasts but MOST women do. You don't just wake up one morning and have tender breasts. It's a gradual thing. As you get further and further along in pregnancy, the pregnancy hormone level in your body increases. With this, your breasts get more and more tender. It's very painful for some women and less painful for others. Eventually the tenderness and pain goes away as your body gets used to and adjusts to being pregnant.

Everyone has a different tolerance to pain. Some more than others. It will not get unbearable if that is what you are asking.
