If you're right beside her that is totall fine. Especially if she can turn herself over. My baby will start off on her tummy somtimes and end up on her back and vice versa. If she is crying when on her tummy then she's uncomfortable. If not I would just let her be. My baby is also 5 months and as long as I am beside her and she is sight I feel okay about it.

My baby was around 5 months when she started rolling to her tummy too. She sleeps much more soundly like that.
If you feel your baby's neck muscles are strong enough so that she can lift and re-position her own head throughout the night... then I would try not to worry. Make sure she has a clutter-free crib, and fresh air circulating through the room.

I say yes. I tried and tried for months to get my son to sleep on his back, but he wouldn't. He'd lay awake and cry. I started putting him down on his tummy and checking on him frequently. He started sleeping through the night at five months and I say it's because he was a tummy sleeper and because I used infant massage. I'd say let her sleep. Especially if it's naptime and you can get some rest or other things done. Good luck!

Depends, can she roll herself onto her belly herself? My son slept on his belly starting around 4 months, when he would roll himself over. To this day, he is a belly sleeper, but so am I. Good luck and congrats!

If your baby is rolling over by herself then it is fine if she sleeps on her tummy. You can check out the American Academy of Pediatrics website for further information.

if she can roll over on her own and has Plenty of room to do so , i don't think there's a problem . but if YOU are uncomfortable with it lay your baby on her side when she sleeps.

You should read about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, SIDS, and then decide her sleep position.
