well I personally feel that cricketers especially in the subcontinent shall behave themselves. Like we have Rahul and Dhoni here... Shoaib and Afridi are fav models for many Ads in Pakistan. I'm saying this because thjese ADs do bring some responsibility with you. You shall not show a bat or hit any spectator.
I think that being a sportsperson, some sportsmanship must be shown by the cricketers.

he wasn't going to hit him with his bat, if someone verbally assulted you how would you react? banning him for 8 matches would be harsh and he would miss 6 of Pakistans world cup games
