Carlos Silva, the Vice President of the Portuguese Federation of Futebol, passed away recently!

Last Saturday (the day before he died), he told Scolari to make Cristiano the captain of the team. The coach honored his wish on Tuesday's game against Brazil. Apparently, Cristiano was moved by Mr. Silva's death and request and asked the federation for a non-birthday celebration (5 de Fevereiro) for him on Monday!

The vice president of The Portuguese Football Federation died on Sunday and as respect for him Cristiano Ronaldo didn't celebrate his birth-day next day on Monday!
