That would be the check engine light. If any of the components monitored by the computer return a value outside the expected range it lights to alert you of a problem. Take it in and they will scan for error codes and let you know what needs attention.
It could be just a loose fuel cap, make sure it is tight, if not tighten it until it clicks and the light should reset in a day if that was the problem.

It's a "check engine light" and it means that you have a code in your vehicles computer. You have to have a scanner to plug into your cars computer to find out what the code is. Many things set off codes for example if your engine misses, crank sensor, Oxygen sensor, TCC solenoid in your transmission, etc. Just take it to a shop nearby where you live and who does good work and find out what the codes are and how much it would be to repair the problem.
