Birds of Prey#84?

Question

In Birds of Prey #84 Barbara said to Helena that she was the wrong age to.
To young to join the JLA and to old to be a titan than is mine quistion.
Let say Barbara was 18 but on the verge to be 19 does that mean also she was to old to become a titan??

wait... ? you are asking hypothetically, if Barbara were to be 18 on verge of 19 wouldn't that mean she is too old to be a titan? Barbara would still be a teen... do not see why she could not be......

Helena must be in early twenties and that is why Barbara would say Helena is too old for titans... do not follow jla do not know why she would too young...

Im looking for the issue and i think you are looking too deep or too shallow into the question. Barbara just got beat by the Omac and Helena(huntress) has just been shot. I think what she meant was that she didnt deserve this lifestyle. Remember, both of these heroines were pretty much forced into their prospective roles. That conversation might be just a comment about regretting this lifestlye.

remember, she also says the entire thing again with this new girl pretending to be Batgirl in issue Birds of Prey#101. She goes through the entire thing aobut how the lifestyle of the superheroine is not right because you are never too old or never too young to be a superhero and to be caught and injured is too severe.

There are no age cut off for both the JLA or the Teen Titans. Cyborg and Starfire rejoined the Teen Titans in the relaunch and they were both around their late 20's. Garth is also in his late 20's as well when they made the Titans after Graduation Day. However, the problem with both Helena and Barbara is that they never fitted in inside a team. If you look at all the Batgirls, they were just outsiders in the superhero community. Even Huntress. All of them wouldnt have fitted in with the Titans because they like doing things solo and they didnt have the experiance to be in the JLA because they are pretty much the best team and demanded some sort of experiance capoff. Just like how Arsenal aka Speedy just recently joined the JLA. The only real team that Huntress has fitted in is Birds of Prey or the Outsiders under Nightwing.

Even if they don’t call it the “Teen” Titans any more, maybe that was just a way of saying that Barbara was 20 or older.

I think so yes.
because legally she is a adult and Scott and Chuck(who wrote Batgirl year one) said she was 18-19 years old and look for Batgirl #45 there is your awnser.
