No, soymilk is not bad for the baby, absolutely not! Neither is lactaid. And skim milk is also fine! The only difference between skim and whole is the fat content.
I had the same problem when during my pregnancies. I hate milk! This is what i did:
1. Ate yogurt.
2. Drank skim milk as fast as I could get it down (it doesn't have as much of that "milk" taste so it was easier).
3. Put strawberry syrup in milk (chocolate made me sick).
I don't know if that helps but I can tell you I have two big healthy kids now!

I believe that it is not. I have been pregnant twice, although I didn't drink souy milk I did drink nonfat regular and the doctor said that was fine. I would think it was healthier. The only times I have seen any mention of those milks and babies is when they recommend that you give them regular milk at twelve months before you and your doctor decide that they should drink other kind of milk. But you have a while to worry about that. I suggest that you research or talk to your doctor so you feel comfortable. I recommend BabyCenter..it's online and they will send you weekly emails. You register giving them your due date so all the messages wil be alligned to what your body (and then your baby) will be going theough. Good Luck and Congratulations!

I am so the opposite. when I was prego I drank enough milk to turn into a cow and now I am lucky if I can drink a glass a week. You need the vitamins and benefits from milk for the baby but you should talk to your Dr. and see if their is something else for you even a calcium pill.

some persons are purely extra drained the 1st trimester. i became like that, in no way sick purely exhausted. i could no longer stay wakeful previous 8 pm!!! purely understand that it's going to get extra effective around eleven or 12 weeks and proceed to realize this till you hit your 0.33 trimester after which you're drained as quickly as extra haha. some era like cramping is established interior the initiating, it relatively is purely your uterus stretching. My suitable suggestion is get different relax and once you do consume make wholesome options so which you do no longer positioned on too a lot interior the initiating. i understand you do no longer sense like work out so purely supplement by means of ingesting actual and you would be advantageous in some weeks!

It's not bad at all. You dont have to have regular milk in pregnancy. Important is just a nutricious diet, making sure you get your Calcium and Protein that you find in milk.. but you get that in other foods too. On top of that your prenatal vitamins are making sure you get what you need.

No not at all. It is actually quite healthy for you both. If you want to get more vitamin D and/or calcium in your diet through milk but hate the taste, try putting chocolate syrup or strawberry syrup in it. I believe their is also a banana syrup, congrats to you and good luck!

I have been drinking Lactaid throughout my entire pregnancy (now 39 wks) and the doc said it's fine. You can also try other sources of calcium such as calcium-fortified orange juice, dairy such as yogurt, etc.

Soy milk isn't really the best thing to be taking. You should really try to drink whole milk. I hate it too. So i mix it into chocolate milk, or drink milky teas. You need to bulid strong bones for when your pushing him out, and lots of other reasons.
