Am I the only one who thinks that terrorists are a bunch of cowards?

They are too afraid to 'meet by the flag pole at 3:00' but they will take cheap shots when we aren't looking. Some fear what the terrorists might do. Terrorists fear what Americans WILL do if we catch them.

So who's afraid of who?

To MC Hummer. This is one of the differences between terrorists and everybody else you mentioned: Everybody else showed up to a fight. Where are the terrorists?

"Cheap shots when we aren't looking?" Take a wild guess how the yank separatists fought the British in the 1770s. Unless you've never read a history book, you'd know the answer. By your argument, George Washington was a coward; but in reality, the real cowards are those who want a war and are unwilling to sign up for the military; instead, such cowards sit trembling behind their keyboards and claiming to "support the troops".

Second, as Dumb Donald Rumsfelch said, "You go to war with the army you have." If you expect the Iraqi fighters to stand there while you bomb them, you're a bigger idiot than you think they are. You fight a war with the weapons and tactics that will let you win. They have car bombs, AK47s and a lot of people willing to fight a war of attrition, which means fighting a guerilla war is their most effective tactic, just as it was for the Vietnamese, and they're going to win, just like the Vietnamese.

Third, is Iraq the 51st US state? NO, it is not. It's _their_ country, not yours; they are the defenders and the resistance again an illegal war of aggression; YOUR country and its soldiers are the terrorists.

Fourth, unless you are illiterate or dilberately lying, you would know that Iraq had naught to do with 9/11 and that there were no illegal weapons which was the ONLY reason given for occupying Iraq.

Fifth and finally, who are really the cowards? The Iraqis are willing to fight and die by the dozens; you yanks cringe at the death of a single soldier. You want war but you expect no casualties.

Listen up, Pollyanna: It's going to get worse in the next 18 months, not better, and when the REAL death toll of US soldiers comes out, people will be even more appalled at Chicken George and his actions.

Why do I say _real death toll_? Because Chicken George ordered the military to violate a standard convention for counting the wounded. Anyone who is in Iraq but dies of those wounds *after* being flown out of the country is deemed "not killed in action". There could be hundreds or thousands of US soldiers killed who are not "officially" KIA, thus their families don't get death benefits that others do (more of that Chicken George penny pinching which demoralizes the troops).

Blunt as this may sound, I can't help but remember that they pulled Saddam out of a freakin hole in the ground. Hiding like a scared rabbit ! Most people wonder why there's so many civilians killed over there. Look, that's who the terrorists are hiding behind. There's your answer. Ta da! I think even the people who don't believe we should be fighting this war would agree with you that they are all a bunch of cowards. You're not alone.

I'm not sure coward is the right word for them a**holes. It does take some kind of guts to kill yourself. Not sure what kind, but some kind. I think they are so brainwashed by the Koran or whatever it is, that they actually believe the crap they are fed. If it did come down to one on one, they KNOW they would LOSE. Because as Americans, we are righteous, we are stronger, we are smarter, and we have the GUTS to face them while we are kicking the living sh*t out of them. And we won't back down. I think they are a bunch of losers. Long Live America!! I think we should kick a** and take names later!!

They are not cowards. It´s just their way of "playing their role"-. Let me explain: one of the purpose is to be unknon, otherwise they´ll be giving the country´s face to the opposer and the whole point of it will be lose.
