have a bf,i met him on net.today we made 7 months since we have been together.the day before yesterday i went to his town, about 200km distance between us.my dad would kill me if he found out and his mother COMPLETELY disapproves with me and especilly with this relation.i love him very much, more than i love myself.throghout this time we got to know each other veeery well,we know almost everything abot eachother.as i went to his town,he wanted me to meet his mother for the 1st time.i was scared cause i knew what she felt abt me.i bought her flowers,i talked nice,i really thought i did a good impression and that she changed her mind.but when i got home,in my home town,he told me his mum doesn't like me at all.that i seem like an old lady next to him, cause it is a big diference between us(i am older with 1year and 3 months).she asked him to stop talking to me,cause he is too good for me.what is her pb?from the beggining she wasn't agreeing with me.but why?i'll hate myself if i loose him

Well i can tell you one thing forget about him there a lot of other things to worry about. You have met him thro' the net where no one is real. If he loved you, he would have explained his mom, but he didn't instead he told you his mom's decision. also you have not met quite often to realise that what you have with him is love or something else. you guys are getting this opposition from your parents side thats whats drawing you closer towrds him. But i feel is that if you guys meet often then you'll realise that its not love

Liz, First of all, don't worry about her, but I don't mean to sound like a parent, but how well do you really know him? I've hit bottom a lot but it was after my boyfriends which I would pee on them if they were on fire, met my parents and didn't really treat me that well. But, no guy is actually worth your life. Listen to yourself, is a guy actually worth not caring about anyone or anything. I've came to the answer no, they are not. My boyfriend currently is a sweetie, would give him anything {though he doesn't believe me} but I would not give up my family for him or any of my hobbies and parents usually love me, unless I break up with their little lads and then they hate me. But, did that once, something bad happen to me and they love me now. It's a weird cycle. Don't know if I make any sense.

From a western point of view -

You'll not have a lot of luck in this relationship because his mother obviously controls him. You'll always be #2 in his life, and you know what happens to #2.

r u M or F, if F if you are in india this age diff will not be agreed by the society. if you want to make him as life partner forget all the society thoughts. go ahead as you think, but do not come back to society or donot try to mingle with society. just think about the life after marriage about your family status, child, relations.

That mom doesnt know tha meaning of love then. && she doesnt deserve you to impress her. && 1 year aint that much of an age difference. If you two are atleast 17 or 18 then your mom can say what she wants but its up to you && him waht you do.

Are you sure that it is only his mom, and that this is not a way you boyfriend is trying to split up with you.If he loves you he shouldn't care at all of his mother's opinion.Talk to your boyfriend and ask him to answer you sincerely....Good luck
