The best way to get HD graphics is a component cable for both consoles.

However, on the Wii, I can't seem to get a picture from Virtual Console games, if I use the component cable.
On the normal composit cable the VC games are fine.

The HDTV cable for Xbox is included with the Xbox 360 premium package. If you got the core system, you need the cable below.

Contrary to what J. Charles above wrote: There are no HDMI cables for Xbox 360 or the Wii. Furthermore the composite RCA cables give you the worst picture, and these cables are mostly bought with the console (Wii or Xbox Core package)

You can use either Composite Video/Audio RCA Leads or HDMI Connector. All you need is the appropriate adapter for Your Wii & 360.

Get component cables for your Wii. do NOT use composite cables (the cables that come with the Wii).
Here are some. You may be able to find them in stores or you can order online here. http://www.madcatzstore.com/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=2711&idCategory=115

For the 360, you can use component also.
