Very early Germanic tribes.

This was the Pre Roman Iron Age and were part of the Proto Germanic tribes related to the Celtic La Tène culture found in what is now France and the British Isles.

The language was probably "Proto Germanic"

Germanic tribes - yes.

Pre-roman iron age? Come on. 1) The Romans never came as far as Scandinavia, so there is neither a pre- nor a post-Roman era... 2) Rome was a already a huge power at 100 BC. It wasn't an "empire" yet, I'm talking about the republic. It became an empire couple of decade later, with Iulius Caesar as first "emperor" (though I really hate this word choice here - he was a single ruler).
