So I caught my girlfriend cheating on me when I showed up to her apt. I argued with her and the other guy outside of her apt that night. I told the guy to leave or I was going to kick his ***. He left, and I stayed arguing with her. I went into her apt to gather my belongings and kicked her lap top computer out of anger.

Come to find out she filed a police report later that evening. Now I'm facing felony charges. Will I be thrown in Jail?

I assume the felony charge stems from the damaged lap top?

Get a lawyer, plea bargain it down to a misdemeanor offense, pay for the lap top, say you're sorry, and explain to the judge that finding out your girlfriend is a slut was a great shock to you and you just lost it.

Kinda doubt you'll do any jail time.

It's hard to say whether or not you'll be thrown in jail or not. My guess is you will be charged with damage to property. It's most likely a felony since laptops are expensive.

You'll probaly have to pay her for the damages, take an anger management class, and be on probation for a certain amount of time.

Get a lawyer, especially if you are charged with a felony.

It's hard to say, if this is your first offense probably not. You might want to get a good attorney. Anger does no one good. Too bad you let it get out of hand and cause you to do something stupid now you have to pay the price.
