As with any hormonal birth control method, weight gain is always an option. However, I used to be on "The Patch" and only gained around 4-5 pounds. I'm sure if you diet and exercise regularly, you will be fine.

That wouldn't be my main reason for not taking it. The other side effects were worse than the weight gain.

Two of my bestfriends used this patch and gained around 20 to 30 pounds each. Also, guess who just had a baby and who is expecting in about 5 months, yea you guessed it. Both of them, I def. will never use this patch.

I didn't, but the Patch is not as safe as the pill or the ring. I take the pill now and like it much better.

Don't use the patch. It's dangerous.

Use another method.
