i think that was a excellent thing to have done, especially if you and your Mom have that close of a relationship that is wonderful.

I'm sure at first she might have been a bit dissappointed to know, but honestly every MOM will know where you are coming from as to the "reason" behind you doing it. It's just a terrific thing to see when Mom/Daughters have such close relationships that they can trust one another enough to confide.

(*HUGS*) and I think you did the right thing!!

i think its good you told her. My mom found out when i was in the hospital cause a doc asked me while she was in the room. yes she questioned me for weeks but i feel better knowing she knows. So now when i hang out with say an ex she always tells me to be safe, etc. i think it brings your relationship with your mom and you closer cause you know for sure that if you told your dad you wouldnt have been able to type that question, lol.

I think it is great that you could tell your mother. But you know you have opened up and door and she is going to be concerned. I am sure she is going to want you to take all the right precautions and try you best to not have sex. What kind of mother would she be if she didn't ask and want to know if you were staying safe.. you know. Think about it like she would. You are her baby.. no matter how old you are.

IF you have that kind of relationship, great. I would have sooner died than tell my mom.
