My Ipod nano is acting stupid. It wont copy all the songs from my itunes library to the ipod. I have to end up erasing it then adding it back on, but that is way too much work. Does anyone know how to make my ipod copy all the songs. I keep my songs stored on a USB mass storage device, and its always plugged in while my ipod is plugged in. Whats going on?

Quite interesting, I've never heard this about nano's before. I offer my best advice:

1. Instead of copying the songs from your USB drive, try putting them on your computer hard drive first and then copy it.

2. What shows up when you try 2 drag the songs on to your ipod?

3. Last but not least you may to erase your ipod and reformat it.

Hope that helps!

When you plug your iPod into your PC or MAC, you go to iPod Preferences-There you will find a Check-Box.
One of those box's says"Sync All Music Automatically"-Check that box, and when you connect it next time it will automatically update your Music to your iPod

I don't add the music to my Ipod library.I just click on the music button under the Ipod Icon and drag my music to that area.
Hope I could help you.
