Can menstrual cups like the divacup and mooncup be used after sex in to retain semen? Like the rule lay on your back for 30 mins after to keep it in, wouldn't a cup help keep it at the back of the vagina by the cervix regardless of body position?

The laying on your back for 30 minutes only makes a difference if the man's sperm has motility problems. Otherwise by the time the penis is withdrawn from the vagina most of the sperm that is going to cross the cervix has done so already.

The sperm need to go all the way up the uterus and up into the fallopian tube to meet the egg, so those cups won't help at all, and they might reduce the chances of the sperm getting to where they need to go.

No it wouldnt and if you ask any fertlity expert the lay on your back with or without feet up does no good. The one strong enough to make it will make it regardless of the position

lol... I am sorry, but USE CONDOMS!
