Without technology people would walk and use camels or horse to travel.(Besicaly there would be not much of fat people =). There would be no guns. (We would have used guns or martial so humans could have been strong phsicaly without the guns).
Without the technology the world wouldnt be much boring, because everyone would have to work hard on traveling part finding stuff etc. I dont know you think technology makes the world better, or will it actully be the most deadliest thing for people, more horroble wars with the techonolgy.?

You can use phone to communicate, but if there was no technology, people would have been writing letters, and people would have jobs of delivering letters. So people would all be good at writing and reading. Not just that people would have travel for each, more adventures ways. Life would have been more adventures without the technology I think.

I think not better because without Fire and the invention of pottery we would have a hard time cooking food, and staying warm. Not to mention the things that help with hunting larger animals for food and clothing like arrows and bows, spears. War can be done away with but technology is a necessary evil. Even the Amish a society that prides itself on not having it still does to a point.

You could go on and on and name all the evils of technology. Everything always have two view points from which you can go on.

Technology has made the world both a better and worse place. Without technology people would be more active. On the other hand without technology people could not be using the Internet to communicate to one another, use a car, everything dealing with science and medicine also deals with technology as well.

Technology making the world a worse place could be an example of creating viruses, making people lazy, creating weapons to kill one another.

Each side of this topic can be turned against each other and be named as a positive or negative aspect. However Humanity will never give up technology for all that it has helped.

Technology can be as simple as a stone axe, or scraper. Or a pointed stick. Or language. Or animal skins, used as simple clothing - capes, wraps. Or fire. Or shelter - a built shelter, not some rock ledge.
Life would probably be pretty bleak, without those technologies.
Where is the cut-off point? What defines a Bad technology?
Maybe the worst technology ever developed was imagination - because with imagination, people can picture an idyllic yesteryear when things were supposedly simpler and better.

Hmmmm.... i do no longer have faith the professionals outweigh the cons. If which have been actual, we'd be doing extra effective, no longer getting gradually worse. do away with the television and different issues that take in all some time and interest. do no longer purchase processed ingredients. basically purchase bio-degradable products. undergo in ideas there's a actual international accessible and circulate to it regularly. those are issues all of us have administration of and would concentration on. medical learn has stored lives... consistent with possibility it relatively is actual, yet what many don't understand is what number lives it has taken to boot. Mass distribution of foodstuff... is it relatively foodstuff and wholesome for you? by means of the time you consume one million/2 that crap, you will choose that marvelous medical learn. Mass production cheapens a product. you have options, what you do with them is your individual selection. replace what you are able to. all of it makes a distinction. international village... will we learn that to places like Yahoo? How approximately each and every of the crap you notice on the internet? I even have in no way seen a lot dirt, hatred, prejudice, and so forth... as I even have seen on the internet. I no longer use the internet just about as much as i exploit to. we don't ought to apply different the trendy technologies attainable... we pick to. It makes us lazier in lots of techniques... bodily and mentally... even emotionally. What human beings do... a lot could be undone, yet too many like "convenience". Why plant a backyard whilst the shop has foodstuff? Why walk to the financial corporation once you're pc will enable all transactions on line? Why meet your actual associates whilst the internet is packed with human beings? Why consume wholesome and cook dinner dietary nutrition whilst there are quickly foodstuff joints on each and every block? Why ought to we workout whilst there's a solid action picture on the television or a game to be performed? Why do something we certainly do no longer ought to?

You are overlooking the main ingredient that dictates which direction technology takes us...the human factor.

Technology is only as good or as bad as the person putting it to use.

Arrows were great tools for hunting the woolly mammoth for dinner. Did man stop with that? No. Arrows were turned into weapons to be used against other men.

It's the same with the tools we use today. Do all peoples use their technology for the good of humankind?

I hate technology, but I must admit it's very useful, especially internet. For example, people who are on different sides of the world can talk to each other as if they are in the same room... That means a lot to me personally. Plus - all the information that it contains... Fascinating. But I still hate technology.

Good points - any technology that allows people to interact less on a personal basis is destructive to our humanity and does in fact increase the likelihood of war and destruction. Ironically, this would include the telephone, birth control, and certainly now, TV and the internet.

The moment an ancestor of ours picked up a rock and used it to either strike their neighbor a little harder, or smash open a hard-shelled nut to extract its meat, humans began to use technology.
It's a completely neutral thing, and I think that for the next several centuries, we'll be whipsawing back and forth between near-doom and near-salvation, until finally we put our heads on correctly and start working together for the common good.

No, the world is a lot better off enjoying the benefit of technology. It is how we put our knowledge on it to work. We may abuse it because we are wicked or we may use it towards achieving better good.

dude,

is your middle name 'hippie'?

here is a little experiment that i for sure you will not even do...

youre just like any other 'philosopher' that thinks and talks the talk...but never does anything...

how about you go into the desert, scrounge around looking for food all the while dying of thirst because all the water is undrinkable due to deer sh!t that has polluted the streams. after a fulfilling day of eating maggots and drinking your urine...hunker down on that pulled up grass bed to sleep on all the while your toes freeze and fall off due to frostbite. dont forget that scorpions and snakes have infrared sensors that seek warm places...ah, you! dont get bit, sick from the rancid food you ate or diarrhea from the deer sh!t water you drank...no doctors, remember?

enjoy!

'another d-u-mbfuck hippie philosopher that doesnt know jacksh!t about what they are talking about'
