I did it for my gf last valentines day and I didn't even know anything about baking.. but it turned out so good.. =)
Or in your case think of anything you dont usually do, but you think you CAN do for her..
A real gift is all about effort and it should come from the heart..

You don't have to spend a lot of money. Get her something that will mean something to her. For example, if she likes to read, buy her a book that she's been wanting to read. Buy her flowers. It doesn't have to be a whole bouquet. Personally, I like getting one rose as opposed to a whole bouquet. Or you could buy her some jewelry. I work for a chain of kiosk jewelry stores called Piercing Pagoda. They probably have one at your local mall. Go up there and you could get her a silver heart chain and pendant for about 20-30 bucks. We carry other charms if she likes dolphins or butterflys. Get a card too, she'll be happy.

Since you said your "new" girlfriend, I would suggest you keep everything to a minimum, but you can still do that and have it be very nice. Dinner is always a great alternative, assuming you have a few $$s to spend, along with nice card and maybe a couple of roses.

first slip a note in her locker to meet you at a restaurant or coffee shop then while at either place give her some rose's and a heart box thing of chocolate hope this helps!

I think you should buy her top of pink colour and pair of shoe of same pink colour and a pink colour hand bag to match, and a beautiful rose flowers. she will like it and love you the more.
