Equality, Diversity, and Rights...
That's rather a broad question. Perhaps if you can expound on your question, i can edit my answer.
To what terms do these pertain? Probably, these go back to personal awareness itself.
Self-awareness (a synonym, i presume) involves mastering one's thoughts, feelings, and emotions. In the process, you must remember that we are all different from one another. From there, the following questions can be answered: What is equal (is it material, gender, moral issues, or others?) , how can respect for diversity be appreciated, what rights do people need?
When you become aware of your self, you can perceive what other people want, or need. You can appreciate other's cultures rather than being ethnocentric. It makes you realize that people are different from one another and as such, you should not coerce them to believe or think as you do.
Morality is the foundation of rights. That is evident in some nations permitting certain activities while it is illegal in another country. And morality is formed from our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
When you mix all those up together, equality, diversity, and rights can be perceived from our awareness of self, with respect to others' point of view.
Summary: When you know yourself, you'd know how to get there.
