I've seen apes wearing business suits, seated in office chairs, and typing on computer keyboards. They didn't know what they were doing, of course. They were just imitating the human who was also doing it. But it was the appearance that the advertizer wanted (CareerBuilders).
It just goes to show that you can't infer that someone knows what he is doing by what he seems to be doing. He could be faking it. And what takes you places politically is a good illusion, never the actual performance.
