I love the old big band German music from the 1920's to the 1940's. Sadly, such things are so hard to find. Lately I've been listening to the 1920's Radio Network on iTunes, but that's all I can find.

There's this one song I son't know the name of, and I don't know what the one line I can remember is, but it's something similar to "mein hertz so rück". That was probably a horrible spelling and whatever, but that's all I can remember. It was on a tv program, and the guy said that it was a hit song during the war.

Although that is my favourite song, I'd be happy with a place to download the music from that area for FREE, and not having to pay money for them.

that's the reason that's suggested as marching or militia song; the belief at the back of that's to allow the troops to march in step without extremely having to pay interest on it. The German marching is the comparable cadence (march count quantity) because of the fact the U. S. form so that's amazingly uncomplicated to take heed to the song and march to it. unlike US marching song maximum, however no longer all, German militia song is likewise tied somewhat nearer to "memories" approximately domicile and girlfrends/different halves to additionally enable the German soldier remember the reason of their sacrifice for there usa so the words communicate relating to the why and the song has you march very efficient double hit; American marching song is greater relating to the service or accountability to usa and not relating to the girl left at the back of. many of the German militia song predates Hitler so it incredibly is no longer Nazi song and would not you Hitler reborn.
