Coming to America??!! Good Lord. I had a few favorites(Jaws, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,The Godfather) but I don't think that they would make it to the best movie of all time. Iguess it depends on what type of movie you like and how deep you read into them. Actually, The Godfather trilogy might be on the list. But you can't forget the classics, like The African Queen and Casablanca,or great musicals like The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and West Side Story. Oh yeah and then the cults like A Clockwork Orange and The Warriors. Wait what about Clint's spaghetti westerns. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and Pale Rider. Oh, Cannonball Run was great too. There are just too many great movies out there.

Being the absolute nerd I am I would say Original Star Wars Trilogy. It has it all. Character you love that is relatively innocent, Luke Skywalker. The Edgy, Not sure if he is good guy or bad guy, who is in it for himself than becomes a good guy, Han Solo. The Damsel in Distress, who isn't actually in too much distress, Princess Leia. The Ultimate Villain, Darth Vader. And a Pretentious Man behind everything evil that manipulates the villain, Emperor Palpatine.

OK so when I am asked that Q, I answer this way. The category of films. Since there are so many films and many millions of movies, you cannot realistically narrow it down to one.
So it goes like this:
Horror: House of 1000 Corpses
Comra (Comedy Drama): Breakfast Club
Comedy: Waterboy
Drama: Tombstone
PsychThrill: Natural Born Killers

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers or West Side Story. Titanic is fantastic, so is Tombstone. Hmmmmm. Have you ever seen a movie called "The Legend of 1900"? It is amazing.
