How can I get my wide screen computer display to use the widescreen and not just the 4:3 screen?

I have a wide screen laptop but only the left 4/5 is being used!

Download the latest video and monitor drivers. Select a resolution of 1280 x 800. Good luck.

You would have to select a widescreen resolution.

Check out what the native resolution for your display is and then set the resoltion to that.
If you cannot do that through windows, then you will need new drivers for the video card.
