Corruption?Did you not watch The State of the Union Address, or do you prefer to get your information from a third party. Here's a quote taken from the official transcripts:
Next, there is the matter of earmarks. These special interest items are often slipped into bills at the last hour -- when not even C-SPAN is watching. (Laughter.) In 2005 alone, the number of earmarks grew to over 13,000 and totaled nearly $18 billion. Even worse, over 90 percent of earmarks never make it to the floor of the House and Senate -- they are dropped into committee reports that are not even part of the bill that arrives on my desk. You didn't vote them into law. I didn't sign them into law. Yet, they're treated as if they have the force of law. The time has come to end this practice. So let us work together to reform the budget process, expose every earmark to the light of day and to a vote in Congress, and cut the number and cost of earmarks at least in half by the end of this session. (Applause.)
I bet they didn't report that in the mainstream media.Seriously people, turn your t.v. off and go outside for a change.

If you are an example of a Democrat I will always be a Republican! I have never understood why the Democrats who are so determined to undermine the Republicans do so in a manner that make themselves look really bad.Why wouldn't you want to make yourself look like the better party by talking reasonable? Ya, like I'd really be proud to be a part of a party represented by you!

BOTH parties have changed, and not for the good of all. But you need to get out more and stop listening to theTV News. You are not getting the full picture. I do not agree with most politics, on either side, but realize that letting news commentators and politians make my decisions for me - is NOT the answer.

there will always be corruption in politics.the majority are in the Democrat party.just look at the new deal and the lies that the liberals perpetuated since.Correct me if I'm wrong ,but wasn't the social security number never to be used for identification. That was one of the biggest lie in politics, but it was the liberals don't see the problem.

Are you not old enough to remember back when the Democrats held Congress. Do you think political corruption happens only on one side of the aisle?
