is it something to worry about?what do the doctors usually recommend.

They usually give you a shot to boost your levels, because it can result in miscarriage. Discuss it with your doctor. it's up in the air right now because you are only 4 weeks. They may want to wait to see if your levels rise on their own

Hi, I am a nurse. Please go to a reputable gynae because 3 years ago before I was a nurse, I went to a gynae just because he was in my neighbourhood. He ended up to be inexperienced and I lost my first baby. I am now 26 weeks pregnant, with a responsible and experienced gynae. Going back to your concern, please do not worry. The gynae will usually prescribe progesterone in either pills or injection, or both. It depends as your pregnancy continues. This is because the placenta can only produce progesterone in its 3rd month. Try to stay stress free, rest well and do not worry too much but to visit a reputable gynae asap.
