I was just wondering if anyone is genuniely happy in there job, and if so what is it that you do, and what makes you so happy about it everyday?

Also what were you doing before your current job, and what changes did you make so that you would be happy going to work?

I'm a mom, and I'm deliriously happy in my job. 14 years ago, I was an employee assistance phone counselor and I loved that job, too. Our company's founder got all excited about his chance to sell us to a big corporation and everything that was good about the company - including the services we delivered - plummeted in quality.

I can't stand my job. It's not the job in itself, but the people. I work with the most narcissistic people I have ever met. Where in the world did they think they are better than everyone else. I work for lobbyists.

I used to work for a food program for daycare providers until my boss when all nuts on me when I got pregnant. But, I am currently trying to get a job with Child Protective Services. I need to start doing something more worthwhile.

I was going to go into law enforcement until my son came along.

happiness in job comes from two main points.

1) How well you know the job you are doing & 2) How independent you are in bringing about the changes that you think r right.
