Wouldn't that be kind of creepy, knowing that no matter where you were, someone could always find you?

I would wear them, gladly, in certain situations. If it happened that were in Bagdad, or somewhere else that people are abducted on a whim often, it'd be pretty nice to know that you could be traced. Out here where I live, it's possible to get 'way lost, and for hikers/backpackers who are serious,it'd be a lifesaver, literally.
For the most part, I see no reason I'd need them in ordinary life.
But if I had enemies...I don't think I do...I'd want to be bugged like that. It's an ace in the hole. But for the most part, wearing them would be like a punishment...

Companies have been doing this kind of thing for years. Where I used to work, we had handheld units to record inventory, truck numbers and times on those trucks. We found out one day those Palm Pilots had GPS's in them. Every move we made was being recorded. This was years ago.

I would not wear them nor use a cell phone with a GPS tracker in it. Sometimes I do not want people to be able to find me.

I don't have to. I have a mobile phone. As long as it's switched on, I can be found because it regularly receives and sends "I'm OK, You're OK" signals to the mobile phone towers near me.
Don't believe me? Leave your mobile next to your computer, or stereo. You'll hear the signal, through the speakers, when it's transmitted.
Sort of sounds like dit-dit-dit, pause, dit-dit-dit, pause, dit-dit-dit.
