No.
The government should only prohibit things that violate the rights of others. Showing yourself in a sexual way on the internet does not violate anyone's rights. Neither does looking at sexual imagery on the internet. Thus, the government has no reason to get involved.
If we decide to ban porn site even though they do not violate rights, just because they are "gross" or "immoral", we open the door for the government to regulate anything else on the internet. If we allow them to ban porn, why not ban racist sites? And if they can ban racist sites, why not politically extreme sites? And then why not ban anything the majority doesn't like?
Even though porn may not be "speech" as commonly understood, banning it has grave consequences for other forms of speech that we all agree should be protected.

I don't think they should be banned, they are not what I want but it is a freedom of speech issue and I do believe in freedom of speech. However, I do think they should all be on one domain, that way it would be easier to regulate underage surfers and maybe help with getting rid of the horrendous child porn. Ultimately it is up to an underage person's parents to watch what is coming in through the net.

That would be alright with me, but I don't think the porn spammers would like that since they are making billions from the sites. You have to realize by now if anything makes a profit no one will remove it.

No!Porn is not the evil that most make it out to be.What's evil and wrong are people who use it to blame their actions on.I've watched porn for about twenty years now and have never wanted to rape anyone or abuse my kids(or anyone's kids).I have never wanted to leave my family or have an extramarital affair.I have learned a few tricks from porn though, and my wife appreciates that.

Absolutely not. I don't think the government needs to overstep its freedom of speech authority. Now if there are underage people or laws getting broken on the sites, then yes, they should be shut down. But when it's adults freely choosing to show their bodies, and the sites do everything possible to ensure only adults can view them, I think it should be up to the adult what they view. Keep government out please.

I don't think they should be allowed to show their stuff to children. That's illegal. Some porn sites choose domain names that are similar to perfectly innocent sites so they can expose them to children, so I don't think they should be allowed to do that. For everyone else... Meh, do what you want.

absolutely. I think it destroys families, encourages unfaithfulness, leads to spread of aids and other diseases, is immoral, and teaches lies about what sex really is in real life in real relationships ! Oh yeah, it should be banned permanently everywhere !
Keep that filth behind closed doors, not in the face of new readers that are 5 years old on our nations freeway signs !!
