here is my situation,i am at home to care for my husband.he is under going very serious treatment for cancer as well as he has just has 2 stem cell transplants(one with his own, didn't work and now with his sister's)as well i am a mom to a 4 year old,i am doing well with all of this mentally, but i think physically it is taking a little toll on me (we have been going through treatments with my husband ever since our child was born,so about 4 years) what i would like is some suggestions on some vitiamin/healthy suppliments to help me with low energy levels.in the pass few months i am finding myself very tired and less active,i am a very out going and upbeat person and i do deal well with what life brings your way,i just think although i have good healthy eating habbits and try my best to be active each day in some way, perhaps the stress is weighing on my physical being and i need to look at some vitamin/healthy suppliments.i know thati should also consult with my doctor, thank you!!!!!!!

one of the best investments you can make to your health is taking a living multi-vitamin (i use GARDEN OF LIFE brand) and taking a "greens" shake to start each day (I use EARTH'S PROMISE brand b/c other brands taste unbearable, whereas this one is sweet). This kick-starts your digestive system (which can consume a whole lot of your body's energy) for the upcoming meals. it contains fruits, grasses, vegetables, seaweed, and many other crucial "super foods" that we certainly don't get enough of (especially when many of these foods are "out-of-season"). Fresh is always ideal, but these are the next best (opposed to not getting enough of them). Eat PROTEINS for breakfast. throw out any notions you have of "american" breakfast foods- we stink at nutrition! other countries eat soup, bean and egg burritos, rice, yogurt, oatmeal, fish, nuts, etc, etc. and it's for good reason- we need that filling, energizing protein as our first meal of the day. if there is only one time you concentrate on protein, make sure it is breakfast! Avoid caffiene and sugar (including white, refined carbs) as much as humanly possible. Use 100% grains, instead. There are also natural alternatives to sweets (REAL maple syrup in my oatmeal, LOCAL, UNHEATED honey in my mint tea, etc) If all of this sounds sensible to you (as it has proven to be for me and my family), you should read THE MAKER'S DIET by Jordan Rubin. That is where i got my start to health and healing. Hope i could help in even some small way. P.S.- this could prove to be most helpful to your husband.....I hope all goes well.

You might think of trying some licorice tea or supplements. Your adrenals could be weak and licorice seems to help with this problem.
