Confident comes , by doing good for someone else and not recieving a reward for the same.
If you want to develope confidence and do not know what to do, then join a group that does so. Slowly you shall start contributing to the society.

It's very easy. When a person is born, if his/her mother provides human milk on demand for at least two years, holds the child whenever the child wants to be held, doesn't separate from the new person for more than 10 hours a week for the first 5 years of the new person's life, doesn't hit the new person, always listens respectfully and responds respectfully to the new person, this new person will be very happy, smart, confident, and, most important, caring about others.
