If you are, can you please explain to me what you find so scary about them? I know some people who are scared of my cats but I don't understand why. What is so scary about them?

I remember when I was 8, when my friend and I were playing... I was riding her scooter, and she was riding her bike. We suddenly heard this loud barking... we screamed and ran as quickly as our little legs would carry us.
Now, I'm still a little afraid of dogs (I'm fourteen, sad, I know), but I'm not so demonstrative. I'm not afraid of cats, don't ever remember being totally terrified by one unless it got on top of me. I guess it's the thought of getting bitten by a dog.

I'm not scared of either cats or dogs, but I remember my grandmother used to say that one shouldn't have a cat around when there is a baby in the house, because the cat could suck the breath out of the baby. An old wives tale, that is crazy if you ask me.

I don't think most dogs are scary. However, I guess it depends on the kind of dog. Say we have a poodle, and a bulldog with rabies. I'd personally enjoy being with the poodle more, don't you think?
Same with cats. If they are lovable and friendly, I'd enjoy being with them rather than a stray cat with rabies.
I basically love both cats and dogs, even if they have rabies. I have six dogs and three cats at my house.

i am scared of big dogs. I used to be afraid of cats but I'm not anymore. My mom is scared of cats I guess I just thought you were supposed to be afraid of them for some reason.

Nope iam not afraid . Iam a dog trainer for my local town and i also own 2 cats. got to love the fury monsters.

I love dogs..but afraid of cats coz they give you death stares all the time and its wayyy scary at night when there eyes go red

i usually like most animals, but...
i have had some bad experience over the years with a few dogs. i like dogs usually.
cats are usually ok as well, but some cats are creepy.

I like cats & small dogs..afraid of big dogs ..got bite by one when I was younger..plus when a big dog jumps up on you his nails go right thru & scratch your skin
