Alright, i ihave ppt file on a thumb drive and i brought it to my grandparets computer to show them but they dont have ppt. wht program can i open this file with that will display the slides as individal pictures, or is there a way to save it as a different file type so i can put it on Ulead?

you can use powerpoint viewer. download it from here:

Alternative (if a net connection is available):

go to http://www.slideshare.net/ and upload your ppt file. it will make an image slideshow from that which u can view online (WARNING: that slideshow will going to be publically available until you remove it)

Save it as a PPS file and you should be able to open with Internet Explorer 6 or better.

ppt is a powerpoint file/format
you need the MS powerpoint viewer to view it which you can download at the microsoft website

try changin to ulead file format.. see some ulead files to find out extension.. also u can find out lotsa softwares to see slides.. u can download it from downloads.com
