You need to do some research. Find out the success, failure rate, the phenomenal cost of it. It is a long process lasting months. There is a lot of pain as they sever the leg bones and pull them apart with a device that then holds them apart so that the bones have to grow to join back together. Then sometimes the pulling apart and etc process is repeated again and again until the right length is attained. So it is a process of going through hours of sometimes excruciating pain for a very prolonged period. Many never return to being normally healthy and strong and the surgery can leave pronounced scarring, very noticeable tissue deformation and skin unevenness and other deformities. That can be psychologically difficult to deal with. Some have a lifelong regime of taking medicines so that body doesn't adversely react to or reject the changes. If you are only a bit short, it's going to be better to pursue a process of of accepting and loving being who you are. One very effective way is practicing yoga and meditative techniques. These are easily learned and are beneficial in many ways. I know because I was a painfully skinny kid when growing up and suffered a lot from being bullied, tormented and rejected. I discovered through yoga and meditation that I was much more than just the physical me. That I was a really wonderful, lovable, worthwhile person. With that came total self acceptance, poise, confidence and a certainty that I was in truth a wonderful spiritual being. Please email if you would like more information

there is a very very long and painful process where there are bolts? inserted into the leg bone and then they are stretched BUT this is I repeat very long and painful and has an age limit of about 15 for the process to be started, the girl that was in the news over a period of years in the UK only had about 4 inches added and she said at the end of it that it had caused more problems than it solved.

It is a very painfully process and will take months for the process to be completed and there is a amount of scarring or tissue un-uniformity. You will most likely to wear long pants it hide it, as there will be holes in your flesh from the rods or bands around your legs depending on the operation. If she is asking you to do, is she really worth it?

Walk tall and be friendly with everyone. Strive to be the best person you can be, and be comfortable with who you are. Other people will notice YOU, and not your height.

As long as your feet reach the ground you are not too short. Besides, you can still have your head in the clouds.

no, it's not safe! watch gattaca and you will not want that operation. learn to deal with your height, my brother is barely 5'4 and he accepts it, he's had a girlfriend for a year who is 5'3 and my dad is 5'5 and he's been married to my mom for like 23 years (she's 5'3 too). anyway.. accept your height and move on. or take up yoga/pilates, if you improve your posture you could maybe gain an inch.

That is just ridiculous. Do you want to be crippled for life? It sounds like you need a new girlfriend, not an operation on your legs.

It's safe, but it can be extremely painful. Not just right after, but aching long after.

If you're under 25 i believe they have a pill called Height Max.
