I'm actually surprising myself by saying this, but I have to go with Angel. Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but Buffy sort of went downhill for the last few seasons with the last season being one of the worst. Angel followed the same path (was there anything more insipid and annoying than the whole Jasmine storyline?), but it totally fixed itself in the end. I think the last season of Angel was fantastic. It could be argued that by the time Angel was in its last season, Joss Wheedon was focusing solely on Angel. The worst seasons of both shows occured when Joss was distracted by Firefly.

Id have to say Buffy. I havent seen that many episodes of Angel. Angel was my favourite character in Buffy though. Hes gorgeous

Buffy the plotline on Angel got more extreme and then just stopped so we were left hanging.

Well im not a lesbian but i will have to say Buffy i never really got in to Angel like i did Buffy. i thought Buffy had the better storys too.
i did like that epp of angel called i will remember you where buffy went to la to see angel i thought that was the best epp of angel i ever saw.
but i have lots of epps of buffy i like to many to name.

buffy was 10 times better, in terms of the characters it had, the qaulity of the story lines, the direction the show moved in from season to season. There will probably never be a show to equal it.

Buffy, because it was where Angel originated and spin-offs just don't have quite the same quality.
