I know that there are a few days a month when a woman is ovulating and when she is most fertile...however, I am wondering, are those few days the ONLY time she can get pregnant, or can a woman actually get pregnant any time of the month and the ovulation time is just the most fertile time.
Thanks

There has to be an egg present in order to get pregnant so the only true time to get pregnant is during ovulation. With that said however, sperm can live up to 5 days in your body and the egg lives for 24 hours, so that gives you a 6 day window of time in which to get pregnant. Another problem is that every woman is different, and we can all ovulate at different times during our cycle, and in fact some women can ovulate twice in once cycle. So although you can only get pregnant when you are ovulating, there is a pretty wide window of opportunity in which to do that. Hope this helps! Good luck and baby dust!!

You could ovulate on distinct days each and every month. Most lady consider it's about day 14 however it's different eery month and unique for every woman. There's also a likelihood of ovulating 2 instances in the equal month however it's rare. When fraternal twins are concieved there must be 2 eggs - equal twins are just one egg that splits into 2 and studies now shpw that fraternal twins could without a doubt be brought on by way of ovulating more than once a month and not necessairly on the specified same time - above all through lady who have now not ovulated for a very long time from being on the tablet........... So i guess if that is real then technically which you could be barely pregnant and then ovulate once more..........However I consider once the hormones attain a particular degree then it stops.

Women can only get pregnant when there is an egg. However sperm can stay in a females body for 5 days and some studies suggest this may be even longer.

Also the egg survives for a fair amount of time, at least 3 days. So now you are up to 8/28 days.

Some women also ovulate more than once at different times.

And it is almost impossible to predict ovulation 5 days in advance.

Technically a women can get pregnant anytime in the month if she is ovulating. A women might ovulate early or later than normal and not realise and become pregnant. Sperm also lives for 5 days so if a women has sex during her period then ovulates early and the sperm is still alive she could become pregnant.

There are only certain times of the month when you can get pregnant. Everyone ovulates differently. Because of the way my body ovulates I can only get pregnant when I'm on my period.
And remember sperms can survive 3-4 days inside of you.
Good luck

A woman CANNOT get pregnant if there is no egg. There is no egg when there is no ovulation. Therefore a woman can only get pregnant around the time she ovulates. That's it. End of sentence.

Sperm lives for a few days so although you might think you're "safe" in having sex before you ovulate, you might in fact, become pregnant. I used this information to become pregnant with a girl - apparently female sex sperm are stronger and live longer. You have sex 3 days before you ovulate. It worked for me - I had a baby girl and didn't have sex during my ovulation.

Ovulation is most fertile. But semen can live in your female body for 5 days.
