I currently have a job with which i have a love-hate relationship.
Its far from home so ive had to move to a place i dont quite like and the job is stressful but i love the mates i have made here minus management, and i do have some good days, plus im used to it.
Ive been offered a job so much nearer to home but it would mean restarting a training programme i am 5 months into.
Should i take it or stay till in my current job till my training is over??? Help!

You should trust your gut feeling or instinct. Whatever comes to you when you first think about the choice - choose that! Do not get involved in the justification of the decision, that is your mind deciding for you. Forget the friends you have made, if they are true friends, a real rarity, they will stay in touch, go for drinks at the weekend etc... In truth you should not let Yahoo answers - answer this, I think you already know what is the right decision. As for retraining, the time will go quickly and you will be thankful in the long term. Good Luck.

The grass is always greener on the other side. Would it be so bad to restart the training programme? Five months may seem a long time but if it would make you happier being nearer home then maybe you should go for it. If it is only your workmates that make the working day bearable then maybe you are in the wrong job. Only you can decide. Good luck.

Go for the new job. You can always stay in touch with your current workmates. Restarting a training programme might seem like going backwards now, but it may be not, it may be even better than your current job and you may learn more. If you stay at your job, you're gonna regret not taking this job offer for the rest of your life. It's always worse regretting something you've not done than what you have done.

Do what your heart tells you...but I would go for the less stressful job and location. Life is too short, you have enough just trying to keep up with yourself let alone what others think and do. If you made acquaintances at this job I'm sure you will again at the next. And if you made a true friend, they will follow you no matter where you go. Live and be free!

Change job, Your real mates will stay in touch and you will make new ones. You won't have the stress and expense of the journey and restarting the training program is only a minor annoyance.

Never be afraid to start again and remember if you have done it once you will be able to achieve more the second time round and also you will get a chance to go over things that maybe you didn't go so well on or that you wished you had more time to spend learning

what ever your decision it must be your own and no one here can tell you what to do

good luck in what ever choice you make

I would restart it if it meant being happier. Your mental health is more important then any job ever is.
