Does anyone see a need for an educational t.v. station? I was thinking something like the food network channel. I know we have the cartoon network & Nick, but I would like to see shows which promote reading and hands on activities. What do you think?

There is an educational TV station. It's called KET or PBS where I live.

There is one that I have seen. It is called Noggin. it says it is commercial free preschool learning shows. I have only seen ads for the station, not the station itself.

Do I think we need it? No.
I monitor my daughter's TV time very closely. She only watches one or 2 shows per day and they are good ones for her to see. I do not need a whole network for her.
