the end like the last 4 inches is dark brown and hard and sometimes the tip falls off and it bleeds. is there something wrong with him?? hes only 9 months old.

yes it is tail rot probably a vitamin deficiancy.. take him to the vet and get a blood draw and a shot of vitamins...what do you feed it?? what kind of lighting do you have??probably something you can fix with a dietary change.. still take him to a vet for a check up..smile

it can be from not enough vitamins or it could be if he slaps the side of the cage alot. but whatever casues it. take him to a vet to find out whats causing it.
