how do you make your sims have a wedding in the sims 2?

i know how to propose engagement and marriage, but i want them to get married under the altar thing, with family around and in their tux and wedding gown..

how do you do this?

Buy a wedding arch and whatever essentials you want for your wedding (champagne is fun to have too), and set everything up. When you're ready, go to the phone and I think it's under "have a party" you can choose to have your wedding.

You can only invite as many guests as you have people in your house, so beforehand you might want to call a few extra people and invite them over. Then, when everyone is there, click "get married" on the arch, and your sims will change into formal clothes and the wedding will begin!! :) I love sim weddings.

Firstly, once they are engaged you need to buy a wedding arch (you can get this under miscellanious in buy mode) then buy champagne and a wedding cake if you want. Click on the phone and select throw party......wedding party. Then you can invite friends or family. Once they have arrived click on the arch and choose "Get married". The Sims will automatically change into a wedding dress and tux and everyone will watch.

you have by an alter and click on it GET MARRIED. but first u have to get engaged to do this. and if you want the family to come over invite them but u could only invite 2 people at a time for a party.

first your sims have to love each enough to have a wedding but when they are ready you buy the flower-thing and have the MAN click on the flower thing and then they should get married. to have them have their family just click on the phone and have them throw a wedding party.
