Yes. For all of you who are so quick to call her a druggie and say she used her body for attention, let me open your eyes a little. Until you have walked in her shoes, been dirt poor, not get the love and attention we all need from our family, then you will know what she felt. Where is compassion? Some very good people make some very bad choices, that's life. Anna was just a little girl who wanted more from life than she had growing up, yes, she went about it the wrong way, just maybe that's all she knew. She was used and abused most of her adult life. She said her son was the only person she could trust, now they are together and I for one pray she has found the peace she so wanted in life. Please remember that Anna always dreamed of being a model and actress, sadly somewhere along her path she met some people who she should have ran from but didn't. God rest her soul.

I like the way I heard the media refer to her as a train wreck and you just couldn't turn away and not look at it.....the way we all reacted to the way her ignorance was played out on television was no different than the way people can't stop looking when we pass a car accident on the highway or seeing the cops down the block, what do we do...WE FRIGGIN LOOK! everytime she came on tv she made a shameless specticule of herself and she didn't give not one damn about what people thought. But, I have to admit I did quit watching after a while if I turned the station and she was in the screen I would keep on turning. THE END.

Compassion sorely lacking. I may not have been interested in the persona she projected during her career, but from the information coming in the person behind the mask was not a monster but actually pretty generous with her family. Everybody else was just feeding off her, as is the way in Hollywood. I think any untimely death should be regretted and we should show some respect - it doesn't hurt.

of course it's sad, but there are so many people that live that sort of life. With depression and with the drugs & everyone has to deal with more than one loss. The only reason that this one person out of more than a million is shown is because she was famous. So don't only think of her think ofall the people in this world that have to deal with the exact same stuff. It should change a lot of peoples insight on the way certain people live their life because I think we all know atleast on person living that sort of Hell.

Yes, it is sad. Although we may not agree with her choice of lifestyle, she was some one's mother. I am very sorry for the loss for her baby. Its sad about all the senseless deaths around the country. We need to realize just how valuable life is.

For some reason she was always drugged up. She wanted to run away from something or someone. She didn't really like to keep up with family member's from what I've read through the years. So maybe therein lies the answer...her family. She just lived from day-to-day it seemed, and just did what people told her to do. Yes, I think it's very , very sad.

its sad that she died but everyone will eventually die, i know her friends and family are sad over her death but i don't know her and if you are sad with the way she lived her life then you must be bashing your head for all the those kids in africa who are suffering from weeks of hunger, rape, abuse, no home, and no family to be looked after, or how about all those strippers and prostitutes that don't become famous playboy models.

Absolutely. Tragic story, tragic ending, and little hope for her daughter's future with all the vultures circling the corpse and the bank books. She probably spent her life searching for love. She should have spent more time with her son, and she most likely would have still been here for her daughter.
