i use you tube to watch videos,the problem is it take a long time to load the videos.when ever i wanna play some videos,i have to wait for some minutes for the video to load.so i dont know ,whether it is my pc or Internet problem.but in friends PCs its so fast to load the videos.

Like the other poster said, if you have dial up you are not going to be able to fix this issue. However lets make the best of what you have now.


A clean computer is key to a faster computer. Run the 3 scans below.

Run a virus scan weekly.

Now lets clean up your disk.



Run a Disk Cleanup 2 times a month. Run Disk Defrag. monthly.


Do a Disk Cleanup and Disk Defrag. You can find both of them by following the path below.
Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>Disk Cleanup. Let it do its thing. You can check every box that has something to delete.
Now follow the same path and do a Disk Defrag. Again just let it do its thing.




Now lets tweak your connection.


If your speed is good I would not mess with it by trying to tweak it. If you do tweak once it is done you should not have to do it every again.

Slow downloads are usually caused by one of three things or some combination of them all:
1. You have dialup and this wont be fixed until/unless you get hi speed internet.
2. Your computer itself is slow, because it is to old, not enough memory, too small hard drive or does not have good maintenance such as regular disk cleanup and Disk Defragmenter.
3. You are infected with Malware.
