We usually store sensitive client data on external hard drives and lock the drives in safes. However, busines travel requires my people to carry sensitive client data on laptops. How do I protect this data. In a worst case situation and the laptops are loss, how can I prevent people from reading the data? I hear VISTA can encrypt the data on laptops, Is this true?

u can use some softwares.. well known is folder lock.. whre u can protect folders with passwords whch cant be accessed by anyone until thy knw the password..
moreover u can protect ur lappy totally using BIOS password set whchs best suggestion i'd give!!
